“Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Tuesday that a randomized audit of voting machines across the state did not find any evidence of hacking. Machines were inspected in Cobb, Douglas, Floyd, Morgan, Paulding and Spalding counties, the secretary of state told local news station Channel 2.

The counties, which include a portion of Atlanta’s suburbs, were chosen because Republicans had voiced “elevated concerns” over election results there, Raffensperger said. His office wanted to give the nation “assurance” that Georgia’s election results are valid. “The system is secure,” Raffensperger told Fox 5 Atlanta, adding, “the vote was counted correctly.”

“Wisconsin has completed its statewide vote canvass and found Biden beat Trump by 20,612 votes, The Associated Press reported Tuesday. Trump has until Wednesday evening to file a petition for a recount in Wisconsin.

His campaign has indicated it would pursue one. The recount would cost Trump $ 8 million, which the Wisconsin Elections Commission said would need to be paid upfront. Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes would not be enough to change the outcome of the election.

“All three attorneys representing Trump’s campaign in its federal lawsuit in Pennsylvania moved on Monday to withdraw from the case seeking to stop the certification of the state’s election results. Linda Kerns, John Scott and Douglas Bryan filed the motion the day before a judge is set to hear the case.

Attorney Marc A. Scaringi will now represent the campaign in the case, according to the filing. Scaringi published a blog post earlier this month on his law firm’s website that calls Biden “President-Elect” and says that the Democrat “has successfully claimed the role of the 46th president of the United States.”

Trump campaign legal advisor Jenna Ellis told HuffPost in a statement that substituting the attorneys with Scaringi “is consistent with routine managing of complex litigation.” The campaign did not answer HuffPost’s question about whether it was aware of Scaringi’s blog post. Monday’s motion is the second set of Trump campaign lawyers to withdraw from the Pennsylvania case.
