With the aim of helping thousands of international students, particularly Angolans, who study abroad, the oil and gas engineer, Sofonie Dala has decided to publish her thesis as a book in order to ease the lives of those students who have been struggling to find scientific and academic information about Angola in order to write their course work.

The original version of the book is in Russian language and has been translated into multiple languages such as Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Finnish, French and other.

The book is available to the public in many online bookstore and has just been offered to all major distributors in the US and Europe such AMAZON and others.

This book was specially published to assist students taking courses in Mining Geology, Petroleum and Gas engineering and other related field.

My hard work has been recognized internationally and an article about my intelligence  was published in Diaspora Network Television (DNT) -  a TV channel with an aim of fostering mutual understanding between Ghana and her diaspora for the purpose of collaborating for national development.

Europeans Clamp Down on Angolan Business Empires

 Business empires grown by Angolans during the rule of former President José Eduardo dos Santos are facing crackdowns in Europe, reports the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). Swiss authorities have frozen nearly $900 million belonging to an Angolan business executive with ties to successive presidential regimes, says Will Fitzgibbon, while Isabel dos Santos, Dos Santos's daughter, has lost joint control of a leading Portuguese company in the internet, TV, fixed and mobile telephony market, writes Douglas Dalby. 


It was revealed in July that the European Banking Authority would probe revelations contained in Luanda Leaks, an investigation led by the ICIJ, into how billionaire businesswoman Dos Santos made her fortune.

Angolan president wants strengthened ties with Eswatini

 Angolan Head of State João Lourenço has expressed intention to boost the growth, progress and well being between Angola Eswatini Kingdom (former Switzerland) based on strengthened relationship between Luanda and Mbabane.



João Lourenço expressed this in a message of congratulations extended to the King Mswati III, ahead of the 52nd anniversary of the National Independence of Eswatini on Sunday. 

Congratulating the people, Government and the leader of the Eswatini Kingdom, the Angolan president expressed desire to make the two States’ historical ties “ an axis that should uphold the common efforts to maximize the potentials of bilateral cooperation.

Covid-19: Angola registers 30 new positive cases and 6 recovered

 The health authorities announced, last Sunday evening, thirty new cases of Covid-19 infection and the recovery of six patients.


According to the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who was updating the data, there are three cases registered in Cabinda, three in the municipality of Soyo, Province of Zaire, and 24 in Luanda.

Of the new patients, aged between 5 and 77 years, 21 are male and 9 female.

The country has 2,965 positive cases, with 117 deaths, 1,198 recovered and 1,650 active.

Of the active cases, three are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 20 severe, 48 moderate, 44 with mild symptoms and 1,535 asymptomatic.
