Congratulations! Sofonie Dala launches her first academic-scientific book. The Geological structure of the Takula field and Prospects for Development and Production of Oil and Gas in Angola

With the aim of helping thousands of international students, particularly Angolans, who study abroad, she decided to publish her thesis as a book in order to ease the lives of those students who have been struggling to find scientific and academic information about Angola in order to write their course work. This book was specially published to assist students taking courses in Mining Geology, Petroleum and Gas engineering and other related field.
The original version of the book is in Russian language and has been translated into multiple languages such as Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Finnish, French and other.

The book is available to the public in some online book store and will eventually be offered to all major distributors in the US and Europe. Go and pick up your copy!




A little about the book and the author

The object of this research is the geological structure of the Takula field and the prospects for the development of oil and gas production.

Sofonie Dala is an Angolan mining engineer, media executive and independent scholar, who pursues academic and intellectual activities by developing expertise in different areas of study. In one word she is a jack of all trades. She holds a Master's degree in Geology Oil and Gas and one Postgraduate diploma in Media Management and Leadership.


The lack of sharing information as a problem for the future generation

Writing about Angola presents some major challenges. One of them is the dearth of information. Largely because of war and general inaccessibility, there is a lack of information on such basic measures as economic performance, population, and socioeconomic conditions.

People Fear Losing Power. These behaviors have resulted in poor systematic ways of sharing information arising out of research within and among universities.
These challenges have contributed to long delays in the submission of student's final course monograph submission; in admission to PhD programs, approval of proposals, and examination of theses. Unfortunately, this tabu has been transmitted from generation to generation.

The same problem can be seen among employees in the company.Employees may be afraid that if they share their skills and knowledge, someone may take over their tasks and the employee will be replaced. 

We are living in the information age. In the 21st century, thanks to the Internet, information is easy to share with our friends, neighbors, and perfect strangers.
Everyone knows that sharing information makes others’ jobs easier. You know something essential for your business and sharing it with another person means that they now know something essential for their business. Progress stands on the shoulders of giants.
