Football: FAF holds elections next November

 Elections at the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) for the four-year period 2020/2024 are scheduled for 14 November.

In a statement, the president of the National Electoral Commission (CEN), Gilberto de Faria Magalhães, said that from 2 to 7 September the provincial electoral commissions would be set up and the voting population confirmed.

He said that the activities would be supervised by the provincial offices for culture, tourism, youth and sport, with the exception of Luanda province, whose act of confirmation of the voting population would be conducted by the CEN.

According to the document, the results of the acts must be communicated by September 7, at 15.00, via e-mail or physical mail, to the addresses of the National Electoral Commission (CEN).

The submitting of nominations begins on 8 September and ends on 18 September, with confirmation of candidacy taking place from 20 September to 5 October.

The publication of the candidacies and the list of the voting population is reserved for 8 October. The election campaign runs from 11 September to 11 November
