Luanda – Angolan President, João Lourenço, left Luanda Thursday for Libreville, for a few hours visit, at the invitation of the Gabonese counterpart, Ali Bongo.
At the "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, in Luanda, the Vice President of Angola, Esperança da Costa, members of the Executive and president's aides bid farewell to the Angolan Head of State.
In Libreville, two agreements are expected to be signed as part of the visit, the first on the exemption of visas in diplomatic and service passports, while the second focuses on political consultations.
Angola and Gabon are members of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the African Union and the United Nations (UN), among other organizations.
President Lourenço is expected to return to Luanda on Thursday.
