Covid-19: Angola with 203 new infections, 46 recoveries

Luanda - At least 203 new positive cases of Covid-19, four deaths and 46 recoveries have been recorded in Angola in the last 24 hours, the Health authorities announced.



The information was delivered Wednesday evening in Luanda by the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.

According to the official, Luanda has recorded 167 cases, central Benguela province has reported 25, northern Uíge with 10 and one in northeastern Lunda Norte.

The list of the newly infected includes 117 males and 86 females, with ages from five months to 84 years, the official stated.

The deaths, according to the secretary of State, involve two Angolan male and two female citizens with ages from 60 to 86 years.
Those recovered include 43 Luanda residents and three based in Benguela.

Angola’s Covid-19 figures include 10.074 positive cases, 275 deaths, 3.693 recoveries and 5.106 active patients.
