Luanda – The team of 1º de Agosto won on Saturday the 2021 Angola Basketball Cup after beating Interclub in the final by 100-98, after overtime, in a match played at Luanda’s Multipurpose Pavilion of Kilamba.

With this win 1º de Agosto saved the season that was far from corresponding to what was expected from them.

The title becomes the 16th won by 1º de Agosto in this competition being the most crowned Angolan club in the Basketball Cup followed by Petro de Luanda with 12 trophies, Libolo (5), ASA (2) and the now extinct Dinamo of Angola with one title.
