COVID-19: ANGOLA REPORTS 59 POSITIVE CASES, 46 RECOVERIES

 Angola on Thursday announced the record of 59 new cases, three deaths and 46 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.

The data are on the clinical report that ANGOP had access to, indicating that 32 cases were diagnosed in Luanda, 9 in Huambo, 8 in Benguela, 5 in Zaire, 2 in Huíla, 1 in Cunene, 1 in Moxico and 1 in Uíge.

Age ranging from 10 to 83 years old, the list is composed of 33 women  and 26 men.

The three deaths, according to the bulletin, were 2 in Luanda and 1 in Huambo.

Of those recovered, 22 live in Huambo, 20 in Luanda, 3 in Huíla and 1 in Bié.

The national table records 19,996 cases, with 473 deaths, 18,381 recovered and 1,141 active people.

Of the active people, 3 are in critical condition, 9 severe, 88 moderate, 80 light and 962 asymptomatic.

The laboratories processed 1,540 samples per TP-PCR.

180 patients are admitted to treatment centres, while 62 people are in institutional quarantine centres.

Under surveillance are 1,935 contacts.
