Covid-19: Angola records 108 new recoveries, 67 infections, four deaths

 Angola has recorded the recovery of 108 covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours, the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, announced Tuesday evening in Luanda.

According to the official, who was delivering the daily covid-19 update, said 67 new positive cases and four deaths have been reported over the same 24 hours period.

He said those recovered are resident in the provinces of Bengo with one, Huíla (one), Moxico (04), Benguela (09) and Luanda (93).

Mufinda stated that the new infections are people with ages from 10 months to 65 years, 45 males and 22 females. Four of those are based in Benguela, one in Bengo and 62 in Luanda.

The deaths have been reported in Luanda, involving male Angolan nationals aged from 47 to 64.

With the new figures, Angola’s covid-19 statistics show 4,972 positive cases, 183 deaths, 1,941 recoveries and 2,848 active patients.
