Covid-19: Angola reports 16 new infections, three deaths, 17 recoveries

 Sixteen more people have been reported infected with covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Angola, three dead and 17 recovered.


According to the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, the newly infected are 12 males and four females, all from Luanda, with ages from 20 to 78.

Delivering the daily covid-19 update on Monday evening, Mufinda said the dead include two Angolan nationals of 70 and 51 years of age, a male and a female and one Ethiopian citizen (46).

Those recovered are from Luanda (16) and northern from Cabinda province (one).

With the new data, Angola’s covid-19 figures show 2.981 positive cases, 120 deaths, 1.215 recoveries and 1.646 active patients.
