✨ Strike a Pose with Fashion History at Madame Tussauds London

Edward Enninful OBE Takes Centre Stage

Edward Enninful OBE Takes Centre Stage

Greetings everyone!

We are back after our short break on my journey at Madame Tussauds London, and as promised — Part 6 is coming sooner than you can imagine!

Recently, I discovered something exciting happening right now at Madame Tussauds London. What really caught my attention was not just the new figure, but the pose! I’ve taken pictures in the same relaxed, confident pose with superstars before — and honestly, it’s the most comfortable way to take photos with famous people… especially when meeting them in real life isn’t yet in the budget!

So, what’s new?

👑 Edward Enninful OBE Takes Centre Stage

Madame Tussauds London has unveiled its first-ever wax figure of global fashion icon Edward Enninful OBE — and it’s nothing short of iconic.

The OBE-honoured fashion visionary now stands proudly on the museum’s runway, inviting visitors to strike a pose alongside him. The launch took place during London Fashion Week, making it a powerful tribute to his influence in the fashion world.

🖤 A Fashion Visionary Honoured

Styled by Edward himself, the wax figure is dressed in a timeless black two-piece suit, crisp white shirt, and classic black lace-up shoes — all donated by the fashion legend. The look perfectly reflects his signature style: elegant, sharp, and modern.

Every detail was carefully perfected by the studio team to ensure a seamless and authentic finish.

Born in Ghana and raised in Ladbroke Grove, West London, Edward Enninful’s journey is one of determination, creativity, and breaking barriers.

🌍 From Youngest Fashion Director to Global Changemaker

At just 18 years old, Edward became Fashion Director of i-D Magazine — making him the youngest fashion editor at a major international publication.

He later held leading editorial roles at W Magazine and British Vogue, where he championed diversity, inclusion, and cultural representation on some of the most memorable covers in magazine history.

In 2016, he was awarded an OBE for his services to diversity in fashion — a well-deserved honour for someone who has reshaped conversations around identity and representation in the industry.

In 2025, he co-founded EE72 with his sister Akua and launched 72 Magazine — continuing his legacy as a creative pioneer.

💡 MTL Did You Know?

Edward Enninful was scouted on a London train at just 16 years old — the moment that kick-started his remarkable fashion career.

From that train ride to standing immortalised at Madame Tussauds London, his story is proof that talent, vision, and perseverance can transform dreams into global impact.

Stay tuned — Part 6 is loading… and trust me, you won’t want to miss what’s next! ✨
