The Climate Action Project, “Empowering to Change” was launched in Angola

EMPOWERMENT TO CHANGE

The Climate Action Project, “Empowering to Change” was launched on November 15, in a partnership between the Ministries of Environment and Education.


The launch event was presided over by the Secretary of State for Climate Action and Sustainable Development, Dr. Paula Francisco Coelho, and the Secretary of State for Pre-School and Primary Education, Dr. Pacheco Francisco.

Also present at the meeting were the Provincial Director of Education of Luanda, School Directors of Luanda, Philomene Marie Brito Carlos, teachers and heads of the various offices that make up the Ministries of Education and Environment.

The Pilot project aims to provide primary school teachers with technical and scientific knowledge about climate change, so that they are able to raise awareness among their students about climate action and innovative teaching materials will be produced, allowing children to learn school content, and at the same time develop knowledge and skills essential to everyone's future.
