Jihadists struck again this weekend in Burkina Faso this weekend killing 40 people including soldiers and civilians in three separate attacks in the north and eastern part of the country.
Jihadists have has a virtual field day mounting killing sprees intermittently since 2015 causing much consternation in the country of 21 million.
So prevalent have the Jihadist attacks been that Ghana’s Ministry of National Security worry that it is just a matter of time before the attacks cross the board into Ghana.
The Minister of National Security Hon. Albert Kandapaah signed a stern alert to Ghanaians asking them to be vigilant at large gatherings.
“The Ministry of National Security would like to draw the attention of the general public to the growing threat of terrorism in our sub region and urge everyone to be vigilant and extra careful about their personal and communal security,” read the Release.
