VEEP Bawumia leaves for UN Security Council meeting in New York




Ghana’s Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia left this morning for New York in the United States to represent Ghana at a United Nation Security Council meeting.



Dr. Bawumia will deliver a statement on behalf of the president during the opening debate of the security council meeting to which Ghana was recently elected as a non-permanent member.

While in the United States, the vice president will also hold bilateral talks with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Africa Ms Molly Phee on strengthening the Ghana/US relations,

Dr. Bawumia return to Ghana on Friday.
