Luanda – The 2021 Edition of the Basketball African League (BAL) kicked off this Sunday in Kigali, Rwanda, with the host Patriots to face Nigerian club Rivers Hoopers.
Angola is represented by Petro de Luanda in the event.
The two-week tournament matches bring together 12 of the best club teams in Africa and the final will take place on May 30.
The teams have been divided into three groups of four (A, B and C) and will play three games against opponents within their group.
Other matches of Petro de Luanda are scheduled for 20 May with FAP of Cameroon and on May 23rd versus AS Salé of Morocco.
