OeAD Grants and Scholarships 2021/2022 for study in Austria (Funded)

Within the OeAD offers grants and scholarships to students and researchers from all over the world, carried out by the unit OeAD-MPC –Mobility Programs, Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation. The programs range from grants aimed at broad target groups to more specific ones aimed at applicants from particular fields of study or regions. Below please find an overview of open calls for incoming programs and the direct link to the online application tool.

OeAD Incoming Scholarship Programs and further fundings

The Ernst Mach Grant - worldwide invites applications from PhD students, postgraduates, postdocs and young lecturers from universities outside of Austria. Students and academic teaching staff from all fields of study can apply for a grant period of 1 to 9 months, extensions are not possible.

Undergraduate and graduate students from non-European countries (conducting a degree on Bachelor or master level) can apply for the Ernst Mach Grant for Studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences, which allows research visits of 4 to 10 months at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences. Extensions are not possible.
