Angolan player Yanick Moreira, of AEK Athens, was distinguished as the most valuable player (MVP) in the European Champion Clubs' Basketball League, during the month of November.
In the last game, on 17th November, the 2.11 meter tall player (28 years old) converted 21 points and captured four rebounds in his team's victory over Cholet de France, by 83-81.
The AEK of Athens of Greece lead Group C of the European League with six points, resulting from three victories, followed by Tsmoki Minsk from Belarus with 5 points and Hapoel from Greece (4), while Cholet is fourth and last in the series with three points.
Trained in 1º de Agosto schools, Yanick soon embraced professionalism and played, among others, in American college basketball.
