Covid-19: Angola records 106 new infections, 69 recoveries

Luanda - A total of 106 new infections, four deaths and 69 recoveries have been recorded in Angola in the last 24 hours, Health authorities announced Wednesday evening in Luanda.


Delivering the usual covid-19 update, the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, said the new infections have been detected in Luanda with 101 and northern Cabinda province (05).
The official stated that northern Zaire province recovered 46 patients and Luanda reached 23.

He stated that four Angolan nationals died of covid-19 in the last 24 hours. Two are males, with ages between 51 and 81 years.

With Wednesday’s covid-19 update, Angola’s pandemic statistics show 3, 675 positive cases, 143 deaths, 1,401 recoveries and 2,131 active patients.
