Covid-19: Angola records 53 new infections, three deaths, seven recoveries

 Fifty-three new positive cases of covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours in Angola, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 1.815, the health authorities said.

According to the secretary of State for Public Health during the daily covid-19 update briefing, three deaths and seven recoveries have also been reported in the last 24 hours.

Franco Mufinda said all 53 new positive cases of the disease have been detected in Luanda, with their ages ranging from 23 to 71 years. 38 are males and 15 females.

The deaths refer to two males and a woman with 17, 60 and 50 years of age.

With the new data, Angola’s covid-19 figures show 1.815 infections, 83 deaths, 584 recoveries, and 1.148 active patients.
