PETRO BEAT AS SALÉ, QUALIFY FOR BAL SEMI-FINALS



Luanda – Angola’s Petro de Luanda qualified on Wednesday for the semi-finals of the African Basketball League (BAL) taking place in Rwanda, after beating Morocco’s AS Salé 79-72.

Petro de Luanda face Egypt’s Zamalek on Friday for the semi-finals.

Thursday's quarterfinal matches will oppose Tunisia's Monastir vs Senegal's Douanes and Rwanda's Patriots vs Mozambique’s Ferrovia de Maputo.

The final will be played on Sunday.
